Teach English pronunciation with clarity, confidence,
and ease

English teachers sharing ideas together online during a pronunciation workshop.

A practical pronunciation course for English teachers.

What Is This?

Pronunciation is often the part of teaching English that feels hardest to pin down.
What should we prioritise?
How much is “enough”?
And how do we include it without it taking over the lesson?

This course is designed to help you feel more comfortable, confident, and clear when teaching pronunciation, so it becomes a natural part of your lessons rather than a separate, stressful add-on.

Who's it for?

This course is for you if you are an English teacher who:

  • Wants to feel more confident including pronunciation in lessons
  • Is a native or non-native speaker of English
  • Feels unsure what to correct, when, or how
  • Wants practical classroom ideas, not just theory
  • Enjoys learning in a supportive, reflective space with other teachers

You do not need to be a pronunciation expert.
You do not need to “sound perfect”.
You just need curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Why does pronunciation often feel difficult to teach?

Many teachers tell me that pronunciation feels like a separate skill, something that should be taught “properly” or not at all.

Others worry about:

  • giving incorrect explanations
  • confusing learners
  • or opening questions they don’t feel equipped to answer

As a result, pronunciation can get pushed to the side, even though it plays a huge role in listening, speaking, confidence, and comprehension.

This course helps you bridge that gap.

My approach

Pronunciation does not exist in isolation.
It lives inside communication.

In this course, we focus on:

  • clarity over perfection
  • awareness over correction
  • integration rather than separation

You’ll explore how pronunciation fits naturally into:

  • speaking tasks
  • listening activities
  • vocabulary work
  • grammar and discourse

You’ll also have space to reflect, ask questions, test ideas, and adapt what you learn to your own teaching context.

What you’ll gain

By the end of the programme, you will:

  • Feel more confident explaining pronunciation clearly and simply
  • Understand which features matter most for intelligibility
  • Have practical activities you can use and adapt immediately
  • Feel more at ease responding to learner questions and errors
  • Develop a calmer, more flexible approach to pronunciation teaching

Many teachers also report feeling more confident in their own spoken English, even if that was not their original goal.

About me

My name is Jennie, and I’m an English pronunciation coach and teacher educator.

I work with both learners and teachers to make pronunciation feel clearer, kinder, and more human.
My work focuses on helping people communicate confidently, without trying to erase their identity or accent.

I created this course because I saw so many capable teachers feeling unsure about pronunciation, despite years of experience. This programme is about changing that relationship.

Practical details

  • Live online sessions via Zoom
  • Clear structure, with flexibility to adapt to the group

FAQs

1. Is this course suitable for both native and non-native English teachers?

Yes. This course is open to both native and non-native English teachers.

Some participants join to feel more confident explaining pronunciation to learners. Others also notice benefits in their own spoken English. Both perspectives are welcome, and the course is designed to support teachers with a wide range of backgrounds and experience.

2. Do I need to be confident with pronunciation already?

No. You don’t need to be an expert.

This course is designed to help you build clarity and confidence step by step. We focus on understanding what matters most for intelligibility and communication, rather than knowing every phonetic detail.

Curiosity is far more important than confidence at the start.

3. Is the course practical, and will it help me integrate pronunciation into my lessons?

Yes. The course is practical and classroom-focused.

You’ll explore how pronunciation fits naturally into speaking, listening, vocabulary, and grammar work, rather than treating it as a separate skill. You’ll also gain clear explanations and adaptable ideas you can use with your learners straight away.

4. What if I feel nervous speaking in front of other teachers?

That’s completely understandable.

The group is kept small and the sessions are designed to feel supportive, not evaluative. You’re never put on the spot, and you’re free to participate in a way that feels comfortable for you.

5. How big is the group?

Groups are kept small (2-4 participants) to allow for discussion and interaction.

This means there is time for questions, reflection, and shared learning, without the pressure of a large audience.

6. I’m not sure which option is right for me. What should I do?

If you’re unsure, the best next step is to book a short call with me.

We can talk through your teaching context, your goals, and what kind of support would feel most helpful right now. There’s no pressure to decide on the call.

7. Is it possible to do this programme 1:1?

Yes. This programme is also available as a fully tailored 1:1 option.

Some teachers prefer to explore pronunciation privately, with space to focus on their specific learners, materials, and questions. If that sounds like a better fit for you, we can discuss a 1:1 version of the programme on a call.

8. What kind of commitment does this involve?

The course runs weekly, and you’ll get the most out of it if you attend sessions regularly.

That said, this is not about perfection or keeping up. It’s about steady progress, reflection, and building confidence over time.

Still wondering if this is right for you?

That’s completely normal.

If you’d like to ask a question, talk through your context, or check whether this course fits your needs, you’re very welcome to book a short call with me.

No pressure. Just a conversation.
